LaMelo Ball becomes youngest NBA player ever to record triple-double in the NBA.
For his 9th game in the NBA, LaMelo Ball became the youngest player in history to record a triple double. In Charlotte’s win against Atlanta, Ball recorded 22 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.
At precisely 19 years and 140 days, LaMelo Ball surpasses Markelle Fultz, , Luka Doncic, LeBron James or Magic Johnson.
“I live my life and I know what I’m capable of, so stuff like doesn’t move me like that,” Ball said. “I know that’s supposed to happen.”
“A 19-year-old rookie does not look like this,” Hornets coach James Borrego said. “This is rare what you’re seeing.”
LaMelo Ball has averages 11.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists since the start of the season.
